We’re looking for engaging, insightful, and hands-on sessions for PUG Challenge 2025 in Boston (Sept 28 – Oct 1, 2025) and Valencia (Nov 5 – 7, 2025). This is your chance to take the stage at these premier OpenEdge focused events, connect with industry leaders, and contribute to the future of OpenEdge development and modernization.

As always, our goal is to provide attendees with practical, high-value technical and business-oriented content. We warmly invite all professionals involved in developing, integrating, and managing OpenEdge applications to contribute by submitting a session proposal.

New & Younger Speakers Welcome!

New to public speaking? No problem! At PUG Challenge, we strongly believe in fostering new voices in the OpenEdge community. If you’re a first-time speaker or an early-career professional, we encourage you to submit a session!

To support you, we offer:

  • Speaker Apprentice Program – Get paired with an experienced mentor for guidance on preparation, presentation techniques, and confidence-building.
  • Lightning Talks – If a full session feels overwhelming, start with a shorter talk.
  • Public Speaking Workshops – Pre-conference coaching to help you refine your skills.
  • If you have valuable insights to share but need help shaping your session, we’ve got you covered!

If you need support in convincing your manager to get approval for presenting, let us know and we’ll discuss a strategy to convince him/her.

How to Submit Your Proposal

  1. Format – Submit your proposal as a Microsoft Word or plain text document attached to an email. If submitting multiple proposals, please include them as separate attachments.
  2. Required Information – Each proposal should include:
    • Session Title
    • Short Description (highlighting key takeaways for attendees)
    • Speaker Name(s) and Bio
    • Preferred Location (Boston, Valencia, or both)

Each session slot is one hour, including Q&A. Confirmed presenters will be asked to submit their slides for access on the PUG Challenge website after the event.

*We will also review later submissions as the conference schedule permits and will reserve a few slots for last-minute, high-impact topics.
